Cleaning the 8mm Sigma lens

Hi people,

I′m considering going to beach area with the sigma 8mm.
Considering there will be kind of water drops (even sand), how could I clean the lens? What should I use?
If I use microfiber to clean the lens, will I remove the coating protection?

If the micro fiber says it is good for photographic lenses.. then sure use it.

Hi Daniel,

I would goto a camera shop for cleaning supplies.  I know there are microfiber cloths for cameras but I would not just use any old microfiber.  Also make sure you use a brush to get any sand or dirt particles before you clean it.  It is worth a little extra money to buy a camera cloth and brush because lenses are not cheap and $20 or so is well spent I think.  Just my 2 cents.
