And just so I'm clear... the black borders around the images, is just my main window with the expanding to fit screen option.

Charlie,

Your still images have black borders (this is not a skin or main stage background).

When displaying on an iPhone the black border dominates the screen and the actual image is basically hidden under the thumbnail bar.

You need to add the images without the black border.

So do I need to have only the scene viewer and no skin? Or do I need to create a (non-movable - non "adjust to screen size") skin? Not sure if that was clear, but to simplify... do I need instead, a specific sized skin that doesn't expand or contract for the iphone/pad?

Safari HTML5 format doesn't support skin framing. So "no skin". Simply add your borderless images and panoramas.
